About Pomegranate Seeds

Conserve is a social enterprise based in New Delhi, India that aims to foster environmental conservation, while simultaneously empowering women through employment opportunities. Conserve has developed a patented technique to upcycle plastic waste from landfills into an attractive new material called “Handmade Recycled Plastic”. Conserve uses this material and others to create products like handbags, belts, and stationary.

Refugee Artisan Group

A group of 170 Afghan refugees work with Pomegranate Seeds in Pakistan, of which 98% are women. These women are skilled in intricate embroidery, which they apply to accessories and home decor items.
