-led craft
MADE51 connects refugee artisans with Local Social Enterprises across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. These organisations are vital to our mission, and are carefully selected based on their proven expertise in production management, export and marketing. Through MADE51 and UNHCR, they work directly with refugee artisans in their host countries, transforming traditional skills into market-ready products that meet global standards.
In collaboration with the World Fair Trade Organization, MADE51 ensures that every partner adheres to our rigorous Fair Trade and Protection Framework. This guarantees ethical compliance, fair wages, and safe working conditions for both refugees and host community artisans working within the MADE51 network.
