OSHANA
About Oshana
Oshana is a social enterprise that commits all profits to support women who have lost homes and loved ones due to the war in Syria. Oshana was created with the support of Makani, and organization that works with refugee women to help them to overcome trauma, fight for their rights, and transform their lives and the world around them. In Lebanon, Makani works with Syrian and Palestinian refugee women. In the UK, they work with refugee and asylum-seeking women from all over the world.

“My husband keeps saying that I am the master of the house now. He tells the kids that they need to ask me for money if they need something, as I am the breadwinner. With the money I earn, I pay the rent and the kids' schooling.”
